Japan rocks

Japan rocks my socks. Except that I'm not wearing any socks now. HAHA. so lame omg.

I LOVE TECHNOLOGY. I love gadgets and i love being a geek.

CAUTION: If you happen to have something against Japan, are not interested in factual talk, or don't like sushi, I suggest that you do not read the words below.

Japan is a technology hub. A country full of innovations and weird inventions. They have the most advanced cellular network in the world. Already, they are progressing to 4G, while some countries are still stuck in 2G. They are approximately 1 generation ahead of US in terms of their technology. Forget the iphone. The Japanese have phones that enable you to pay for everything, watch tv simply by connecting to the network, and all your other normal phone functions, which all lie dusty and forgotten amidst the new wave of things you can do with your phone.

Normal phones are swiss army knives.
Japanese phones are Japanese phones.

You can't use a Japanese phone outside Japan. The infrastructure is not there. The cellular network is not there. I wish we had the Japanese cellular network in Singapore. ):

Today was RGS's 130th BIRTHDAY. YAY. Founders Day today was really special. It was the first one that was held at night. I have one major gripe: the concert segment is shorter than the monotonous speech segment.

It was freaking hot can. We were sitting at the koi pond area AGAIN. And then some sec ones had to be smart and sit in front of us. And I was sweating in my layers of clothing, and everyone was squashed like sardines. I swear I could feel the ants biting at my butt.

After the concert hitched a ride in shermaine's dad's car. Shermaine's dad seems very fatherly lorh. And the car was nicely fragranced with DURIANS. I love durians. They make the world go round. Ok not exactly, but who cares. Now that i think about it, I might have left a sweaty butt print on the car seat. Hmm.

Reached home and I ate a 6 inch subway melt. I am sooo going to get phat. I ate pizza for CCA dinner already lorh. Now i feel like a giant beachball bouncing around the house lah. That is a very depressing thought.

The giant beachball needs to go and brush her teeth now.
