Christmas is coming

I shall lift up my lazy fat fingers to start typing a new post about... EVERYTHING. First, is yesterday's skating trip with jean. She type so long post i ps. I doubt i even typing 1/4 of wad she typed. Anyway, we went to jurong after spending like 30mins exploring (ahem) dhoby ghaut station. Then reach the ice skating rink wan to enter then saw the sign the rink closed to public from 3pm because got some event. After that go get skates. (let me mention that im going to sue that pair of obnoxious blue skates soon...maybe jean will join me) After like wasting time trying to tie the laces, we go on the ice and jean clung to the sides for her dear life.

She try to skate awhile holding the sides, then i suggested use the bar easier. Then from there she learnt how to move her feet and then i hold her hand then skate together. Soon, she can skate le. Then we a bit bored so go take the metal bar to skate because can skate MUCH faster with it. wheee.... Jean ironically falls down when she users the metal bar to skate. LOL. We sian le then get out go macs drink coke. funfunfunfun in the SUN. (i meant on the ice) Shall add pics in nxt post.

Shopping with Mama

I went to the hospital with my mum yesterday for my appointment, and then we spent the rest of the time at chinatown point and chinatown. We went to SWENSENS for lunch and i got to eat my baked chicken rice. waha. Was to full after that to eat any ice cream so had to make do with just that. After that we wandered aimlessly around and she bought some wool shirt because she thought it was cute. Before that she had already bought 3 tissue box covers.

We found some advertisement advertising about some beads and clay shop. 03 14 was the shop number but we COULDN'T FIND IT. However, we found another beads shop that sold some really nice glass and semi precious stone beads. The designs available were very nice and prices were reasonably. The shop was called appleby or sumthing like that. I bought some beads there and we then found the 03 14. The shop also sold beads but had less variety and was more like a general craft shop, with its beads, clay and other stuff. They offer lessons for beading and claywork. I found a round bead there and bought it. (i like big stuff)

Blog Hosts

Whoa. It has been tiring for me for 2 whole days. I have been trying out dfferent blog hosts such as wordpress, vox, xanga . Livejournal was also on my list, but the homepage turned me off and i was lazy to go make another account. I really like wordpress because its really simple to use like blogger except that it has other features that prove useful to me. Xanga and vox were more complicated, but both had nice skins. Xanga was confusing to me and there were so many settings and options and stuff on the blog that i didn't need but too lazy to figure out how to remove it. I also don't like the way that they have the xanga and vox bar at the top that gives you options. I prefer the blogger bar that it much simpler and blends into the design of the blog.

I have decided that i will stick with blogger as my main blog and wordpress to like play around with its features. Both are simple and just right for me to use. Next up i will be going around trying out all the social networking sites such as MySpace and Friendster. I have tried friendster before but that was really long ago and i didn't really find any use for it. I have facebook but not sure how to use it too my advantage too.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!

Christmas i coming and i am HAPPY. The prospect of getting loads of presents and opening them should release endorphins in my brain. (ehh...I hope its the brain) And usually around christmas time we get to eat Expensive FOOD. (sushi and sashimi)

Of course, there is also an offside. I also have to spend money on christmas presents, resulting in a bleak and desolate wallet that is in desperate need of something to fill it. I have almost bought everything on my christmas list, except for SAK. Obviously, SAK has changed her mind from a swiss army knife, to a bicycle, and now she wants dance lessons. I need ideas on what to get her that is not CHEAPO. I thought the sak was a good idea. Maybe now she shouldn't be called SAK any longer. She should be called DANCE. waha.

I am in desperate need of something for her. Tag ideas please. My budget is around $20 max. I'm sharing with some other people.

Mapling is so SIAN

I am officially sick of MAPLE.
Actually, thinking over it, the only reason i played maple was because i err... wanted to chat?
And of course the thought of being a super pro mapler. (which obviously will never happen)
Maybe i would just quit it permanently and do something else like blogging or attending class outings. ICE SKATING. I want to go ice skating again. Its damn fun can. All i can do at home now is either read books (chinese) or do maths assessment books. Obviously it is not an ideal way to spend the holidays.

Mum: You are so addicted to the computer you don't even see me now of days. (bcos my eyes are on the com screen)

Mum: What did you do today? Did you do your algebra?

Zen: Err no. But i did do my chinese assessment book and i attempted reading a chinese book. (i hoped it sounded convincing)

Mum: You are spending too much time on the computer.

Mum walks out of the room. i proceed to be a good girl and shut down the com.
I start taking out the physics textbook and aimlessly try to figure out SI units. Wow.
At least i made notes.

A line makes a difference

Heh. I was surfing the web and blog-surfing yesterday and i came across a blog and i found THIS.

If you are still pondering what is so weird about this then i shall tell you.
This is actually the toilet sign you find in err... shopping centres. The signs they use to point out where the toilet is. And obviously the ahem...male counterpart has successfully managed to climp up the wall to peek at the female. This gives something interesting to think about. I mean, did you ever think what the line was? Why couldn't they just draw the male and the female without the line. This gives a perspective on how the line could mean a wall, but i still don't see the necessity for it. People don't usually spend energy on their braincells to think over toilet signs and why they are that certain way. Do you? If you do i think you are nuts. I realised that the line could serve as a purpose to warn people that FEMALE and MALE toilets are separate.
But of course, that is another of my possibly absurd ideas that make no sense at all.

Oh wait. I realised that I am the one killing my braincells over thinking about this.
I never knew one stupid black fat line could make me ponder over seemingly useless things.

The Low Traffic ):

Currently my BLOG has got extremely low traffic and i have supposedly only 1 faithful reader who is none other than my cute pink-lover little friend-VALERIE. Heh i hope she likes her name pink here. LOL. I know that my posts are RELLI boring and i dun really deny that. Actually, i doubt people even read my posts. At most they come here to tag.
OK. enough of my emo-ing over my blog. it is getting overboard.

I shall talk instead about todays events. I went to the Bedok View Dentist early in the morning today with my father. It was still closed so we had breakfast at the nearby kopitiam. AND I GOT TO EAT MY KAYA BREAD., with hot milo. (: I thought it was really nice, with the butter. The milo was also just right i guess, it was steaming hot. I burned my tongue over it. Hmm.. i think i have never drank anything so hot before. I thought it was the nicest breakfast ever... (oh wait... i always say that, don't I?) My father ordered laksa. I didn't know laksa was a breakfast food until today. >< Anyway, i still think kaya toast is MUCH NICER than laksa for breakfast.

Oops. i think im hooked on my kaya butter toast. hmm...even the words look tasty.

Some Final Tweaks

Just in case u hadn't noticed, i added a pacman game and a counter which is right at the bottom of the page. I will be changing the games quite often so that it won't get boring. Not that anyone really visits my blog anyway. ): This is the first blog that i put so much effort into. I wonder whether i should remove the hugs counter, its spoiling the look of my blog. Maybe i shall put that on a poll soon.

As i promised, here is the website where u can get the solutions for the games in my previous post. A few posts back i said that i would soon post pictures which i have never done so far. Unfortunately, i did not take any pictures yet for a few simple reasons.
1) Nothing interesting to take and blog about( I am unfortunately stuck at home the whole day)
2) My phone's camera sucks (2mp)
3) I don't have my own digital camera. (Nikon D40x is going to be on my christmas list)
4) I cannot find anything interesting to take pictures of. hmm did i state that already?
5) I can find interesting stuff if I can go out. (However, it is a NONO from my parents) obviously

I shall wait till I have a mildly interesting subject to take pictures of. That would be forever.

I changed the blog skin about quite some time ago, but i was too lazy to post or add my profile and other stuff. Somehow life is so boring now that i HAVE a lot of time to blog. The Cycling Lesson

I am back after uh... my so called maple holiday. (if u actually know what i'm talking about). Maple is starting to freak me out again. Ok. Enough about maple. i shall hereby commence my blabbering on something currently MUCH MORE interesting to me and showcases a small fragment of my life which is not showing up very often on this blog.

I TAUGHT GRACE HOW TO CYCLE!!! (third successful student!!! weeee...)If that isn' something to celebrate about, then ask yourself whether you grasped cycling in less than 2 hours. CREDIT goes to both my effort and hers. Firstly, i taught her how to get on the bike. like DUH. And start moving by pedalling immediately. i guess the 'getting on the bike part' is really difficult, but in the end she still got it HERSELF. Next was teaching her how to balance and cycle without any of my support and she got that part the fastest. Added bonus was that she managed to cycle up and down the slopes. As a reward we made some strawberry crumble for her to try. FUNFUNFUN.IN THE SUN. actually we were caught in a slight drizzle. i sound like some advertisement for Downtown East.

If you think that what i have taught grace can also benefit you, i am offering cycling lessons during the holidays for no more than $5 per lesson, and you should be able to be cycle at the end of the lesson. PROVIDED THAT YOU:1)Really have a desire to learn. 2)Will not chicken out from getting on the bike. Do i sound businesslike?
